10am – 12pm Main discussion
Join the Haverfordwest Action Forum for an inspiring morning of local insight and community discussion to plan how we can improve Haverfordwest – together.
Back in January, we set ourselves a bold challenge: how can we work together to improve Haverfordwest? Since then, we’ve made strides building new connections, launching festivals that celebrate what makes our town special, and establishing a volunteer team to help care for the green spaces we all value. And – we have a clear picture of the barriers to doing more. Join us at the next forum to plan how we organise for greater impact and take the next steps toward a better town.
This forum is YOUR chance to shape the future of Haverfordwest. Let’s build on what we’ve learnt this year, learn from other towns, and plan for a brighter future.
Keynote speaker: Jeremy Martinau – Lessons from Fishguard.
Fishguard has undergone an impressive revival in recent years. Joining us on the 4th October will be Jeremy Martinau, a key figure behind Fishguard’s journey, who will share what worked there, and what Haverfordwest can take from their success.
Plus hear from local champions working on:
Railway Station Revamp
Celebrating Haverfordwest Heritage
Tackling Town Parking
Farming & Town Connections
And a review of the brilliant events which have brought life into the town this year – Carnival, Castle to Quayside, and Haverfordwest River Festival.
Films showing the railway station improvement project and the inaugural Haverfordwest River Festival will be playing from 9.30am-10am.
